Hughes has a robust partnership program dedicated to developing best-of-breed technology solutions to meet the needs of the warfighter.
Today, Hughes works with both government and industry partners on technology studies, pilot programs, and cooperative research and development agreements (CRADAs) to create joint tactical solutions.
For example, Hughes is currently working with DISA ( see above)on a CRADA to research network-centric architecture of IP networking with the RSM-A standard. Likewise, the company has a relationship with an industry partner to develop a solution that allows the warfighter to maintain radio communications in all environments, including mountainous and urban regions that often inhibit traditional radio communications.
