Physical security – Hughes network operations facilities are staffed by Hughes operators on a 24x7 basis and operated with geographical redundancy. Each facility is an MPLS-enabled carrier-class site, employing extensive fiber, grid electric power, and captive power backup systems to allow for extended, self-contained operation. Using both proprietary and industry-standard tools, Hughes secure NOCs continually monitor all customer networks for any signs of nonconformance.
